IS THE CHURCH LISTENING?

A sickening spirit of malaise fostered by subversive political correctness has settled upon America that has now joined forces with humanism and other “isms” to combat the Truth of God and appoints its first “gay” President over our land.  This is unbelievable in the minds of many.  Then in the minds of others it is far overdue that America should be tolerant towards those represented by choices actuated by gay lifestyles. These opposing lifestyles are on a collision course that will soon be settled by God Himself.  As Spiritual disobedience seems to continue in gaining ground against all the True Church represents She must remain firm in commitment and to the call of II Chronicles 7:14.  The Church must not expect the world to pray so as to alter its steps toward God. Rather, the Church must hear the requirements of this verse and of II Corinthians 10:4-6 that states: (4) For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, (5) casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, (6) and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.  Note here when the obedience of the Church fulfills these verses concerning the matter it prays over, then DISOBEDIENCE CAN BE PUNISHED BY GOD.

The word “evolved” is attached to the decision made by President Obama who states that after careful and prolonged thought he now believes same sex people should be allowed to marry one another as do heterosexuals.  In fact, a national news publication has placed a picture of a haloed President Obama on its recent cover. This is to herald him as making a wonderful and long needed decision that now brings equality to a people who live in a state the God of Israel forbids.  The halo gives emphasis either to Obama’s saint hood, or to some, his messianic qualities in politics.    

The decision made by this President is at best audacious and satanic. As a politician the President’s hidden or maybe now open agenda is to glean the votes of those demanding such recognition.  Well, I tell you that in pandering to such a base there is one vote the President will not receive.  That is the vote of God who outlines His agenda concerning such matters in Leviticus 18:22; Leviticus 20:13 and Romans 1:24-27. God’s directions are clear yet America’s malaise is apparent by the deafening silence of the Church who fails in its call to arms outlined by the above Scriptures. We are to war in prayer and praise against the spirits that direct such awful decisions.  Sure, people have the God given gift of life and may choose whatever style they desire.  But that does not mean the Church should approve of those styles that clearly violate the above mentioned Scriptures.  For the Church to choose God’s style does not make it “fobic” against those who choose other wise.  However, the need of recognition by the lifestyle of gays and lesbians has sided with the Civil Rights and other in kind movements in its attempt to legalize it as a “right.”  Sure, that lifestyle is a “right” but that does not mean God approves! 

Many today are asking the question, “What is your opinion about homosexuality and such?”  The answer of any Church member must confess that, “My personal opinion is not what matters but I can tell you what God’s opinion is!” Then you should be versed enough in the Scriptures of Leviticus and Romans to quote them as written.  Polls are fed by opinions of one side of an issue and then of the other.  Those with the most positive or negative opinions depending on how the question is posed can then claim victory and demand their rights as outlined by a recent survey

Well, these surveys have steered America to the brink of Spiritual disaster and the present course needs be turned back to righteousness, peace and the Holy Spirit because of such is the Kingdom of God.

ARE YOU REALLY THANKFUL

     The traditional season of joyhas arrived.  Thanksgiving and Christmas call for our attention!  But   it is a truth every year at this time that there are some that are just not happy.  These seasons have been ordained to remind us of what we have, where we have come from, how our nation was birthed and of course to celebrate the birth of our Savior.  But alas, even when the seasonal table is set with all its wonderful things to eat, people sit around it and complain of what they do not have or of what they do not like.

     Oh sure, some do have a good time  There is joy and a sense of accompolishment appreciated by those who prepare the meal.  There is joy and a sense of accomplishment appreciated by those who can watch the afternoon ball game following the meal.  There is joy and a sense of accomplishment appreciated when certain ones leave.  There is joy and a sense of accomlishment appreciated by those who neither watch the game or assist in clean  up but rather hang around the porch, the yard, or "ride to the store" or connect with someone not in an icy moody.  There are some good times, but are they really associated with what Thanksgiving and Christmas are about?

     A lot of American homes seem to have strayed from the true meaning of what Thanksgiving and Christmas represent.  I say that these trying times in America in which we see more and more unrest in our streets, our government, in our homes and business just may result from a growing national departure from the true meaning of these seasons.

     Look here at some things for which to be thankful,

*  Give thanks this year to the Giver of all good and perfect gifts
*  Give thanks because He tells you what to do in a crisis
*  Stop complaining and begin complementing God's Grace     
*  Give thanks because He has established you on His sure foundation
*  Give thanks because He called you to a guaranteed Covenant
 * Stop your carnal thinking and refresh your Spiritual thanking
 * Give thanks because you can always count on God.

      He promises to always have His descendent on the throne of Israel. This is to say, God always has your back!

ONE NATION UNDER GOD

We are living in times of extreme challenges to America's Spiritual life. With the creation and now world wide availability of the Internet everyone with an opinion is subject to voice theirs. In doing so, positions on either side of a spiritual issue are slowly manifested. An example in the headlines today is one of Freedom of Religion. This phrase is bandied about with little or no firm Spiritual discernment when referring to Islam and their "right" to build a Mosque near ground zero in New York City. Whereas, America is founded as one nation under God, this God must be identified so true "religion" can be understood and thereby applied.

I offer the following insights hoping to bring some clarity and true focus to our One Nation Under God.

* Freedom of religion according to our founding fathers refers to America not having a State oriented Church as that which the Pilgrims came to America to avoid.

* America's freedom of religion is the opportunity to worship God without oversight from the Government. This lack of oversight does not mean separation between Church and State. The Old Testament Prophets and the New Testament Church have always spoken direction to its governmental leaders.

* When the Pilgrims decided to flee from the British Empire, they were seeking to remove themselves from excessive taxation and governmental pressure slowly choking spiritual life from the Church.

* The founding families of America were not fleeing God, they were running to Him.

Now who is this God they were seeking? He is the God of Israel who is the Father of the Spiritual Savior of the world. The thoughts of the early settlers were not focused on any God other that the one of Israel. So, the God of Israel is the God of America. Not Buddha, not Confucius, and surely not Allah. There is only one "religion" on earth sanctified by a Risen Prophet. This is the "religion" of Christianity. Those "religions" serving prophets who are not risen from the dead may be settled in some good works and purposes. They have the right to worship as they desire. But when it comes to their "religious" rights being cited as equal to Christians I must draw a line in the sand as did Moses in the Book of Exodus.

America is founded with a heart towards the God of Israel and the Savior He provides as an atoning sacrifice for the sins of men. There is a real danger in giving approval to the establishment in America of temples to gods foreign to the God of Israel. History proves that who ever controls the land also controls the "religions" of that land.

May you be blessed as you review this. May you see the truth of how religions foreign to the foundation of America are ever so slowly creeping in among us by using our own freedoms against us. Political correction is a real culprit in supporting this spiritual invasion. Opinions divide men. It is ones faith in the true God of Israel that unites believers in Christ.

A BIBLICAL ANSWER FOR AMERICA'S GOVERNMENT

Many are the questions in this hour as to "what have these socialists gotten us into?" Let me give you a Biblical answer.

In Matthew 13:24-30, there is given the parable of the wheat and the tares that says, "Another parable He (Jesus) put forth to them saying, 'the kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way...'"

This of course refers to the Kingdom of God on earth and its battles with the dark side that comes to destroy all the good work of the Kingdom. However, there is a double law of recurrence here that applies to America. Our Nation was founded as ONE NATION UNDER GOD and has always used the Bible as its guide for the laws and decrees it enacts to govern its people. But during the last hundred years, particularly the last forty, the enemy of righteousness has sown tares (things contrary to Biblical principles) so as to undermine the founding principles of America. This has happened as "men slept!"

The Church in America has fallen asleep at the helm of its righteous direction. This sleep has been induced by the tremendous wealth, protection, and adjacent positions that we have taken for granted and then demanded more without honoring the "giver of all good and perfect gifts." This hunger in America for "stuff" is choking us and we are losing our ability to breath Spiritually.

It is not too late for most to return to the righteousness demanded by our Covenant with the Lord. I believe our America Republic will be saved, but look at the price to be paid because we do not honor the Price YAHshua (Jesus) has already paid. Many who grew up going to Church have forsaken that direction so as to enjoy something less demanding of change.

Change IS in the air, but many do not realize what change is needed. I say to all, "Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you." Rather than whining in fear over those things that are happening in and with the government, let each believer "exhort the other while it is is still day."

NOW IS THE TIME FOR ALL GOOD MEN TO COME TO THE AID OF THEIR COUNTRY! Do not just read II Chronicles 7:14, perform it!

Mine is not a doomsday message, but one of hope that is only possible in and with Jesus Christ, the Risen One!~~~
